Roger E. Saathoff

Roger E. Saathoff, 61 years of age, of Beatrice passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at the VA Medical Center in Omaha. He was born on April 3, 1964 in Beatrice to LeRoy and Jennie (Boughtin) Saathoff. Roger graduated from Beatrice High School in 1982. He served his country for one term in the United States Marine Corps. After being honorably discharged, Roger stayed in California and worked many years for Dunbar Securities before retiring and moving back to Beatrice in 2009. He was an Eagle Scout and a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Beatrice. Roger was an avid Husker fan who enjoyed country line dancing, skating and racing. 

Roger is survived by his brother, Mark Saathoff and wife SuAnn of Beatrice; nieces and nephew, Accassia Saathoff and significant other Bryan Young, Jayde Blythe and husband Travis, Trey Saathoff and significant other Kendra Barnts; and great niece and nephews, Zaidyn and Declan Saathoff and Scartlett Blythe. He was preceded in death by his parents; and great niece, Stella Rose Blythe. 

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Evergreen Home Cemetery in Beatrice. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice from noon to 8 PM with family greeting friends from 6 to 7 PM.
