Oxygen supply stabilizes
Oxygen supply stabilizes
The Guam Memorial Hospital says it’s seeing relief after last week’s islandwide oxygen shortage.
GMH confirming it has received an initial delivery of 700 gallons of liquid oxygen—with more expected later this week.
With supply levels now stabilizing, elective surgeries that were temporarily put on hold have resumed.
Hospital officials say they continue to closely monitor oxygen levels and operations to ensure patient safety and continuity of care.
Interim CEO Dr. Joleen Aguon adding they’re grateful for the progress and are working with supply partners while remaining vigilant.
