Guam gas prices surge again, marking 5th spike in three weeks
Regular gasoline now $6.329/gallon; premium $6.719 & diesel $8.549
Gas prices on Guam climbed again Friday night, marking the fifth increase this month and continuing a sharp upward trend at the pump.
As of March 20, regular gasoline is now $6.329 per gallon, with premium at $6.719 and diesel at $8.549.
Since the Iran conflict began on February 28, the increase has been steady and costly. Regular gas has jumped $1.45 per gallon, while diesel has surged $3.20 per gallon.
For drivers, those increases are adding up. Filling a typical 15-gallon tank now costs about $21 more than it did just a few weeks ago. For diesel users, the increase is closer to $48 more per tank.
The latest spike comes even after a newly announced 60-day Jones Act waiver by President Donald Trump, aimed at easing fuel shipping costs. So far, however, prices on Guam continue to rise.
