The University of Guam is expanding its School of Engineering with a new Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, set to launch in Fall 2026.

University officials say the program is designed to help meet growing workforce demands as billions of dollars in federal and private investments drive construction and infrastructure development across Guam and the region. The degree will prepare students for careers in project management, cost estimation, scheduling, safety oversight, and site operations.

UOG President Anita Borja Enriquez said the program will help build professional capacity for Guam and Micronesia while supporting industries expected to see continued growth.

The program will be housed within the university’s school of engineering and builds on the success of its abet-accredited civil engineering degree.

Students will also gain hands-on experience through internships and industry partnerships.

Officials say the university is also planning to launch a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in Fall 2027 as part of a broader expansion of its engineering programs.
