Timothy J. "Tim" Fahey

Timothy J. “Tim” Fahey, age 85 of Nebraska City, NE passed away on Tuesday; March 3, 2026 at the Ambassador in Nebraska City.  He was lovingly known to many at “The Navigator”!   Tim moved to Nebraska City in 2006 from Wilmington, MA to be closer to family.

Timothy Joseph Fahey was born on December 24, 1940 in Boston, MA; the son of John Joseph and Mary (Meade) Fahey.  He grew up in the Boston area and attended school.  In 1958, he graduated from the Somerville High School at Somerville, MA.

He entered the U.S. Air Force in 1962 and honorably served his country until his discharge in 1966.

Tim was a truck driver for many years.  He also owned and operated his own truck for several years.  He was an avid Boston Bruins and Boston Red Sox fan.

He is survived by his sons:  Mike Fahey and wife Gayle of Clarinda, IA, Paul Fahey of Nebr. City, NE and Sean Fahey and wife Stacy of Nebr. City; Four grandchildren:  Derek, Amber, Trenton and Kelly; 18 great-grandchildren; daughter in law Patty Fahey of Nebr. City, other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father John in 1985, his mother Mary in 1976 and a brother Henry Fahey in 1993.

Family graveside services will be held at a later date in the Wildwood Cemetery at Wilmington, MA where he will be laid to rest next to his parents and brother.
