TIF proposed for 11th Street restaurant
Planning commission recommends plan
NEBRASKA CITY- The Nebraska City City Council is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. March 2 with an agenda that includes a tax increment financing request for a south 11th Street project that includes a new Jimmy Johns restaurant.
The Nebraska City Community Development Agency will meet at 5:45 p.m. on March 2 regarding using TIF for Nixon Enterprises Redevelopment Project.
The company requests $182,000 in TIF for property on south 11th Street north of the First State Bank. The city Planning Commission recommended the TIF application on Feb. 4.
Also on the agenda are street closure for the Little Heroes, Big Futures Arbor Day Funfest event on April 25 and a special liquor license for The Flyovers Music Concert at the Veterans Memorial Building on Dec. 19.
