Todd R. Manes, 46, of Beatrice, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2026, at Bryan Medical Center East Campus. He was born October 16, 1979, in Beatrice to Ron and Jan (Dusenbery) Manes. Todd was a member of the Beatrice High School class of 1998 and earned a degree in Criminal Justice from Southeast Community College. He worked alongside his mother at K & B Tobacco and, for the past year and a half, served with the United States Postal Service, completing his final route before his passing. He was a proud member of the Eagles Club in Beatrice and enjoyed bowling, darts, softball, spending time with his dogs, spending time with kids, having drinks with friends, and cheering for the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Bears. Todd will be remembered for the friendly smile he shared with everyone he met.

He is survived by his children, Boston Manes and Brealyn Manes and their mother, Kelsi of Beatrice; parents Ron (Ann) Manes and Jan (Karlo) Albert of Beatrice; half-brother, Chad Manes of Omaha; significant other, Emily Forney of Beatrice and many aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.

He is preceded by his grandparents, Doris Wade, Hap and Elva Dusenbery; uncle, Byron “Brad” Manes; his dogs, Trooper, Pooter and Bear.

A Celebration of Todd’s life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Centenary United Methodist Church of Beatrice with Rev. Dr. Paixao Baptista and Connie Carpenter officiating. A family prayer service will be at 1:45 P.M. at the church on Friday. Burial will be at the Blue Springs Cemetery. Closed casket visitation will be Thursday, April 9, 2026, from 10:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. with the family greeting relatives and friends from 5:30 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
