NORFOLK, Neb.-- People are already thinking about home projects as the 40th annual Norfolk Area Home and Garden Show gets underway at Northeast Community College.
The event, organized by the Norfolk Area Home Builders, features vendors with everything from ATVs and sheds to windows, flooring, and outdoor living products.
Proceeds from the show go toward helping college students get the tools and equipment they need for their careers.
“But everyone kind of gets spring fever this time of year. So they want to do projects on their home. They want to check out all the things that we have to offer. The different industries from hot tubs to being able to float down the river. So a lot of different people come in and they know that when they come here, they're going to see a variety of different things,” said Erica Daake, a member of the Home Builders board.
Organizers say the variety of vendors draws a mix of people, from those ready to start projects to others just looking for ideas.
Booths throughout the show have floor prizes, and visitors can also grab free ice cream.
The show continues through Sunday.
