Grains higher, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) _ Grain futures were higher in early trading Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Beef was higher and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Apr. live cattle gained 0.75 cent at $2.32 a pound. Mar. feeder cattle rose by 1.8 cents at $3.50 a pound. Apr. hogs gained 0.38 cent at $.95 a pound.
