A 32-year-old man is facing multiple charges after police say he broke into a Mangilao apartment and threatened to kill a woman in front of three children.

According to a magistrate’s complaint filed in superior court, Jason Robnny Timothy was charged with burglary as a second-degree felony, terrorizing as a third-degree felony, criminal mischief as a misdemeanor, and second offense of family violence.

Police responded to a disturbance call just after midnight Tuesday at an apartment complex in Mangilao. The victim told officers timothy broke the front door and entered the apartment where three children were inside.

Court documents state Timothy allegedly threatened to kill the woman in front of the children and told one of them to call police because he was going to carry out the threat.

Officers later located Timothy at an abandoned house. When questioned, he told police he did not damage anything and claimed he did not force his way into the apartment.

Police noted a crack on the outside of the front door. The victim also told officers timothy did not have a key to the residence.
