HALL COUNTY, Neb. — Aura Molina has withdrawn from the race for Hall County Assessor and announced her support for another candidate.

Molina filed as a Republican candidate in February, and said she is stepping aside to work with Darrel Stanard.

Stanard is a licensed appraiser and certified assessor, who says he plans to strengthen the office’s expertise and provide hands-on service to taxpayers.

He also announced that Molina will join his campaign and, if elected, serve as Chief Deputy Assessor.

Molina says her priority has always been serving the Hall County community effectively.

Incumbent Kristi Wold has filed to run for reelection.
