KWBE (1450 AM) provides local and national news, sports and severe weather coverage to Beatrice and its surrounding communities.  It also delights listeners with classic rock and pop hits from the ‘70s and ‘80s.  Established in 1949, KWBE has provided important information to the communities it serves for nearly 70 years: everything from live coverage of Husker games to conversations with the governor and other important politicians.
